NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Manager to join our client in Miami, FL. This is a fully remote position. They will oversee financial management as it relates to accounting regulations. Other aspects include: financial reporting, overseeing accounts payable, bank and credit card reconciliation, managing approval process, general ledger, and someone who can wear multiple hats.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong Accounting Manager level experience working in a team environment, strong AP experience, and be able to lead a system implementation.
Ideal candidate should be very career and growth oriented. Client would like to move this candidate into a Controller role within 6-12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing AP and creating process improvements
- Financial reporting
- Month and year end close
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- General Ledger
- Manage the approval process
- Future systems implementation migration
- Be able to wear multiple hats assisting the ownership with special projects when needed.
Qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance degree (BS/BA/MBA)
- Netsuite experience required, system implementation preferred
- Some Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience working with systems implementation required
- Previous experience in a manager role at least 5-6 years.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Strong leadership qualities. Supportive and Servant Leadership style
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
