Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to identify and engage prospective clients, leveraging your experience as a business broker and cultivating new relationships within the business community.
- Utilize your comprehensive understanding of the deal process to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Lead the end-to-end management of M&A transactions, drawing on your experience running deals from start to finish, including deal sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, and closing.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop compelling pitch materials, conduct thorough due diligence, and structure deals that align with clients' objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance and expert advice to support their decision-making process and achieve their financial goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to proactively identify new business prospects and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Experience in business brokerage/investment banking with a proven track record of success in client acquisition and deal execution.
- Experience as a business broker, with a strong understanding of the business sale process and proven ability to facilitate successful transactions.
- Proficiency in evaluation methods and financial analysis techniques, with the ability to identify value drivers and potential risks.
- Demonstrated experience in independently managing M&A transactions from inception to completion, including deal sourcing, negotiation, due diligence, and closing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Real estate and/or insurance license preferred.
