Job Summary:

NOW CFO is looking for a detail-oriented and growth-minded Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Denver, Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, maintaining meticulous records, reconciling accounts, and supporting the growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the Accounting and Accounts Payable functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall efficiency.
• Work closely with the finance team to support reconciliation and month-end close processes.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address accounting inquiries and provide necessary financial information.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and facilitate timely payments.
• Manage relationships with vendors and consultants. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and resolve invoice issues.
• Assist in the preparation of financial and cash-flow reports, providing insights into Accounts Payable trends and variances.

Qualifications:

• Have or are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and processes.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a strongly preferred.
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
