Job Description
With the upper management support, the Store Manager leverages the brands to grow sales, increase profitability, and maintain high quality and customer service standards at their location. The Store Manager will create a selling environment focused on customer service and achieving business results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
- Lead store talent acquisition; recruit (Direct Recruiting), partnership with Recruiting Department, interview, hire and promote outstanding associates
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
Additional store manager duties as needed
Candidate’s Background:
High school diploma or equivalent required; supplemented by six (6) months experience optical sales or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Knowledgeable on MS Word, Google Docs, etc.
Superior verbal and written skills.
Skills & Requirements:
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to deal effectively with a diverse group.
- Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
