ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity to lead and execute strategic CRO roadmaps (including a significant amount of website AB testing) as well as data-driven user experience initiatives that will build confidence in plans and tactics, create test and learn opportunities, and spur thought leadership that drives client and agency growth.
The Sr. Manager, CRO works both as an individual contributor and collaboratively to lead cross-functional teams through client’s advanced conversion rate optimization projects.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop data-driven, prioritized conversion strategies and user experience strategies based on customer segmentation analysis and qualitative and quantitative data
- Lead conversion rate optimization for clients' websites and landing pages
- Help ideate, build, implement and manage a robust pipeline of optimization tests in partnership with internal teams and an outside partner(s), continuously improving conversion metrics and driving new customer acquisition
- Be responsible for ensuring that NP Digital is supporting clients in driving business growth while delivering the best experience for our customers
- Partner with performance marketing strategists internal and external and to identify and size opportunities to improve web conversion rates
- Help to lead cross-functional teams and outside vendors to develop a holistic roadmap and aggressive test and learn plan
- Define the CRO plan and translate it into an aligned operational plan and tactical roadmap that will drive growth across the business
- Ensure cross functional partners are aligned and processes are in place to quickly deploy and implement winning tests
- Partner with data, analytics and insights strategists internally and externally to actively monitor and report on the performance across the CRO program
- Socialize results via scorecards and executive reports
- Continually optimize based on results while ensuring brand standards and clients goals/objectives are being met
- Identify when clients require custom solutions that are not part of existing offerings from the CRO team and own gaining management approval, scoping and solutioning the identified customization with considerations for adding the customization to the standard offerings
- Plan and execute (set up and document) scalable, CRO programs
- Present CRO deliverables
- Bring credibility with regards to CRO expertise to the forefront with client stakeholders
- Educate internal and external team members on CRO best practices while keeping the team up to date on new industry developments
- Help qualify and scope new business and existing client opportunities including analytics requirements and deliverables
- Participate in new business pitches
- Keep assigned CRO deliverables on track while supporting teams in day-to-day execution of client programs
- Recommend appropriate solutions, from NP Digital's standard CRO offerings within assigned clients' scopes
- Use strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team while using discretion and good judgment in decision making
- Contribute to processes, frameworks and rubrics that allow for consistency in data story telling for agency programs
- Own the final review and feedback of CRO strategies and recommendations before they are delivered to client stakeholders
- Create and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and training materials
- Manage strategists and specialists
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and break down complex issues to find the root cause
- Take initiative to step into contributor roles as necessary to support client projects and the integrity of the client partnership
ABOUT YOU
- 8 of relevant CRO work experience, including conversion analytics and testing tools, web development, UX and digital media in a digital marketing agency setting with hands-on experience in integrated digital marketing analytics and performance marketing analytics
- Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing strategic Roadmap Testing and data initiatives for well-know, enterprise level brands
- Strong knowledge of experimental / multivariate test design techniques
- Working knowledge of best-in-class conversion testing platforms: Adobe Target, Google Optimize, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Monetate, VWO
- UX Design & Prototyping software: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch
- Qualitative and quantitative research: site polls, user testing, usability, competitive analysis, site analytics
- Familiarity with integrated digital marketing channels, statistical reporting, analytics, and attribution including tagging and analytics tools like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, TikTok etc.
- A passion and capability for conversion optimization, data, analytics and insight execution to a high standard
- Bonus experience managing and growing a team of direct reports, including the ability to mentor and lead by example
- Excellent written, verbal communication and data story telling skills

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: USD $100,000.00 to $120,000.00, depending on experience and skills
- Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
