What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sample Catcher position at NPH Technology?
Rotation Details: 4 weeks on X 2 weeks off (May be asked to work more as needed)

Job Summary:
The Sample Catcher provides the GSS Field Specialist/Engineer trainees, also called mud loggers, with a representative collection of mud samples and cuttings and helps them in the maintenance of all the equipment installed around the rig.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Collects cuttings sample
- Washes, dries and screens samples, divides them into correct portions and packs them by sets for Client, partners and trade
- Assists in core recovery and core packing when required
- Is responsible for alerting when noticing unusual cuttings sizes and shape, lack of cuttings whilst drilling, gas cut mud and visual inspection of gas sampling apparatus at the shakers
- Assists the GSS Field Specialist/Engineer trainees in monitoring the well and in the maintenance of the equipment.
- Is aware of safety regulations and procedures, as specified by the Client, Geoservices, relevant safety authorities and respect safety regulations in all performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor service attitude, availability, good common sense, methodic, safety awareness
