What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Clerk position at NPK Construction Equipment?
SUMMARY: NPK is going through an ERP conversion and switching our system from ICIM to CSI 10. We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to help enter and extract data while also being sure to confirm the accuracy of the conversions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieve data from the ICIM data base
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents
- Handle materials containing highly confidential information
- Create letters, reports, and documents as needed
- Verify the accuracy of inputted data
- Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with Infor Syteline is a plus, but not required
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to type at a quick and steady pace
- Ability to remain organized while multitasking
- Comfortability working with a computer and electronic files/documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Previous related experience preferred
Education
- Highschool diploma or Equivalent
- College degree already obtained or currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, information technology or a related/similar area of study strongly preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time while operating their computer and performing office work. The individual needs to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantly operate a computer and other office machinery.
