CREW LEAD - CONSTRUCTION NPSG Europe delivers critical e-fulfillment warehouse implementation services (Installation and Fit out) , across design consultation, technical integration, buildout and retrofits – providing maximum site efficiencies. We cover key design and execution needs while bridging the two for fast, headache-free projects. Due to our continued success and growth, we are expanding our site based teams to support us across Europe. As a Crew Lead across our Start Up Construction division you will be working on varying sizes of projects reporting into a Senior Site Lead, usually leading small team of employees or agency workers to complete tasks within their area of skill and expertise. This is a manual (“hand tools”) live site and a labour heavy role. Ideally you will come from a Construction, Engineering or Electrical background with experience of small to medium scale projects – ideally within the “fit out” sector. Key responsibilities include: Supervising a dedicated team of temporary workers through project completion – this will differ per project Ensuring there is a site accident book and that any accident (major or minor) involving an NPSG team member is recorded in it and is reported to the Health & Safety Team Assisting in completing quality documentation/reporting including burn/status reports - Managing Work in Progress materials and project related documentation in an orderly fashion Preparing a site for the go live date – including setting up work stations, inventory and workflows Planning, scheduling, assigning work, and ensuring that activities comply with company policies and procedures, codes, and regulations Circa 80% of this role will be hands on using power hand tools to complete the project installation including assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies Recording technical tests and performance validation data in data capture system Communicating technical problems and working with other team members, as required to solve them Maintaining a clean and orderly work area Required profile: 3 years minimum experience in a live site environment within construction Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook, Microsoft Project - You must have the ability to read drawings and identify specifications Experience with various power hand tools – This is a hands on position and you will be expected to support and lead the team in a “all hands on deck” environment You will be expected to lead a team in a client facing environment, so you must be a strong communicator with proven leadership skills You must possess the right to work in the country of employment & across the EEA; be willing and able to travel and possess a valid European driving licence.
