Job Summary:
The RNC Productions Manager will manage and direct Field Supervisors and secondarily field employees who install residential new home construction HVAC equipment and accessories. Ensures work meets builder needs and conducts quality-control checks on completed work. As needed due to staffing and customer needs, performs service, maintenance, and installation work.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:
- Plan, assign, inspect and supervise maintenance, repair and construction activities; maintain records and file. Prepare reports.
- Assign and distribute work orders and work requests.
- Review all work orders before and after completion.
- Inform supervisors of completed and outstanding work orders.
- Cooperate with warehouse to determine which parts should be ordered to stock.
- Determine time and cost estimates for HVAC jobs.
- Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested.
- Builds rapport and fosters long-term relationships with builder superintendents.
- Provides ongoing supervision, training, coaching and feedback to improve performance and meet objectives of all assigned areas to ensure optimal performance.
- Provides leadership to designated teams through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication based on direction from senior management.
- Addresses issues of concern related to performance providing constructive and ongoing feedback and consequences if performance remains below standards.
- Provides regular performance updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensures that all administrative guidelines are followed for reporting and paperwork.
- Responsible for effective hiring of all new team members.
- Continually searches for ways to improve results and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years' construction management experience.
- Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Ability to manage projects and resources.
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- EPA certification
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.

Working Conditions:

- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Frequently performs tasks requiring climbing, bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching.
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements).
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting.
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others.
