Customer Service Representative – Pittsburgh, and Surrounding Areas
Reports to: Operations Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our growing property management team in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, handle tenant inquiries and concerns, assist with lease administration, and support the daily operations of our properties, Property Managers, and maintenance division. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are required, as this position may involve occasional travel to support various teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage communication via phone, email, text and occasional in-person interactions, ensuring clear and efficient responses to tenant needs.
- Assist with lease administration, including processing applications, renewals, and terminations.
- Support property management operations by coordinating maintenance requests, scheduling property tours, and ensuring smooth communication between tenants the Property Managers and the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and transactions in property management software (AppFolio/Buildium experience preferred).
- Assist in preparing and distributing tenant notices, newsletters, and other communications.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and other team members as needed.

Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in customer service or administrative support (1-3 years preferred)
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Property management experience a plus!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel
- Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio/Buildium experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional evenings or weekends as needed to handle any after hours emergency communications as needed.
