Purpose of Job
The Program Manager will lead a multi-disciplined team, from award of business through EOP, to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are completed on-time and meet the expectations of internal and external customers. Also, the role will communicate with the customer regarding program deliverables and cascading these expectations throughout the organization as well as managing project budgets to ensure control and compliance.
Major Duties/Responsibilities

- Support the development and management of program timelines, objectives, and milestones for assigned customer program, assuring compliance through open issues tracking and weekly status meetings.
- Coordinate and assures timely submission of all customer required documents (e.g. APQP, PFMEA, process flow, control plan, etc.) at customer determined milestone dates and assists Quality Team in maintaining the status of assigned programs via customer database (i.e. Powerway, Covisint, Supply Power), if applicable.
- Manage project specific financial budget(s) for key items such as operating expenses (D&D, salaries, etc.), capital expenditures, and contribution margins to SGA, etc.
- Support in the coordination of prototype or trial sample parts deliveries during customer build events.
- Coordinate and assists North American production facilities in preparation for plant audits, open issue meetings, APQP meetings, launch readiness meetings, and other customer on-site reviews.
- Work directly with Sales, Engineering and other global divisions to determine feasibility, cost, and engineering hours for new/existing product changes, including project specific D&D budget and recovery.
Education, Experience and Knowledge
Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge and skills that are necessary.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other related fields
Related Experience
- 1-6 years of program management experience.
- Ability to maintain project timing and ensure on-time deliverables.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, productions processes and the OEM development cycle.
- Understanding and knowledge of automotive electronics and engineering development.
- Proficiency with MS Office programs including: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Special Training or Competency
- Observation, understanding, and execution of applicable company ISO/TS/IATF certification standards related to the role and impact on the overall organization.
- Acredited Program Management training or certification preferred.

Work Hours
Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5pm. Off-hours as needed.
Travel Requirements
10% international and/or domestic.
If domestic travel is necessary, valid drivers’ license is required.
If international travel is necessary, valid passport is required.
