Title: Registered Nurse
Specialty: Pediatrics
Facility: Acute Care (Hospital)
Shifts: 40 hour days
Responsibilities but not limited to the following:
- Work with children and ask questions about their health for diagnosis and documenting patients' symptoms and medical history for the doctor
- Assess a child's needs and provide initial care
- Identify changes in children's symptoms and intervene in emergency situations
- Participate in pain management for children
- Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keeping accurate records
- Deal with the anxieties and demands of parents, and help families to deal with their child's illness or injury
Qualifications:
- One year RN acute care experience required
- Active Applicable State Licensure
- American Heart Association issued BLS and ACLS
