POSITION PURPOSE:
As a Director, Database and Application Professional Services at Ntirety, you will be part of a team of Database Administrators, Data Engineers and Application Consultants remotely supporting multiple database and application projects for our clients' systems all over the world. You will be working with all of Ntirety’s internal teams, technical team members, and our clients to ensure high quality and timely delivery of technical services from the team. Your role will include the hiring and management of team members, defining processes, auditing the team’s delivery of quality and timely services, and assisting in pre- and post-sale processes related to professional services.
You will be part of a team including Sales, DBAs, developers, and other consultants providing consulting services on multiple database engines and applications for our clients' systems all over the world.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage general strategy and delivery of professional services in the database/application department within Advanced Services
- Assist in the architecture, design, and management of major processes for the professional services department, including how it interfaces with other departments within the company (managed services, infrastructure, sales, etc.)
- Technical direction & management of professional services team personnel (code review, spot-testing, process implementation and review, personnel management, etc.)
- Project & resource management
- Periodically audit operational procedures and address anomalies or issues as necessary
- Coordination/Management of Client Relationships
- Train, mentor and direct other managers and technical personnel
- Assist in the presales scoping process for new opportunities
- Assist in the presales Statement of Work process for new opportunities (functioning as SME, assigning SMEs, assisting in designing services and deliverables, etc.)
- Focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Process oriented engineer and manager with strong execution and follow through skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Strong written and oral communication skills a must
- Team player with ability to multitask with minimal supervision and high reliability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7 years of related experience in database and/or application technical service delivery.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, responsible for managing people, process, and/or technology
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
