Nuclear Waste Partnership (NWP), an LLC of Amentum, is seeking candidates for a rewarding career opportunity to support the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) and be part of the nation’s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste. We seek a General Plant Project (GPP) Control Account Manager (CAM) in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

The successful candidate will be responsible for schedule planning and status, measurement of accomplishments, actual cost collection, variance analysis and resultant corrective action. The CAM is responsible for preparation and presentation of monthly project reporting to include metrics such as Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Estimate at Completion and project performance. The CAM is responsible for managing the point where technical scope, schedule and budgets are integrated.

The GPP CAM will manage the project schedulers, cost analysts, Project Subcontract Technical Representatives (PSTR), Administrative Subcontract Technical Representatives (ASTR) and the Project Coordinator.

NWP Exempt Salary Grade (32 – 36)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with ten (10) years of relevant experience, or
  • Associate’s Degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience, or
  • High School Diploma or GED with eighteen (18) years of relevant experience is required.
  • Knowledge of project management financial controls and systems.
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous WIPP Project experience is a plus.
