We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to join our team. The Home Health Aide will provide in-home care for elderly, disabled, and/or chronically ill clients. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about basic healthcare practices, have great communication skills, and be able to work independently with clients. This position is Monday - Friday no weekends and morning hours.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and hygiene assistance for clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with activities of daily living such as eating, toileting, and transferring
Observe and document clients' health conditions and report any changes to the supervisor
Help with medication reminders as needed
Assist clients with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning
Accompany clients to scheduled appointments or outings as necessary
Provide emotional and psychological support to clients and their families
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a certified home health aide program or equivalent experience
Ability to read and write in English
Must undergo a background check and drug screening
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must have reliable transportation

Physical Demands:
The ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods
The ability to lift and transfer clients weighing up to 50 pounds
The ability to perform repetitive movements
The ability to bend, kneel, and climb stairs as necessary
