Responsibilities:
As a Registered Dietitian at NutraCo, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents by addressing nutrition-related health problems through clinical nutrition treatment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Represent NutraCo's focus on providing compassionate care, with respect and dignity to patients.
- Take direction from the VP of Clinical Services and Regional Clinical Director.
- Provide leadership and direct supervision of all dietitians in the region.
- Work closely with members of facility corporate teams to ensure clinical accuracy of all dietitians at the facility and client satisfaction.
- Provide clinical nutrition services to residents in Long Term Care facilities within the designated region.
- Conduct nutritional assessments, develop and implement care plans, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on nutritional practices and dietary management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.
- Travel to various facilities within the region as needed.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure
- Previous experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in Long Term Care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the designated region.
- State licensure guidelines must be met, along with facility vaccination requirements as needed.
- Strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
