Become part of our family. Nutricopia is now recruiting dietetic consultants for part-time coverage three Assisted Living communities in Ventura, California and surrounding area. These facilities are 4 hours per quarter. Not remote work.
Nutrition Ink has 3 ICF IIDs in Ventura area 2-4 hours per month. Not remote work.
Qualifications
Required
- Registered Dietitian
- Valid driver license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Long Term/Clinical health care experience
- 1 year RD experience
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent time management & problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
- Experience with standard online charting
- Computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Outlook, and/or Internet to perform required duties
- Critical thinking skills and problem solving
- Ability to adapt to different work environments
Essential Responsibilities
- Quality and regulatory assurance review of Food/Nutrition Services sanitation, food storage, preparation, and dining services
- Nutrition education and counseling for residents/consumers and in-service staff
- Assist facilities in identifying problem areas and finding solutions
- Ensures adherence to DOH, state, and federal regulations, HIPPA confidentiality standards, and company policies and procedures.
