What you will do:
- Able to be a self-starter and proactively solve problems and work with minimal supervision
- Advocate on behalf of the customer when assessing product quality and code quality
- Drive collaborative discussions to promote understanding of product quality
- Actively participate in all scrum rituals; stand ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospective
- Play an active role in the refinement and estimation of features and user stories ensuring acceptance criteria is well defined and QA effort is accurately estimated
- Develop and execute tests, analyze results, and communicate findings
- Report issues and drive defect triage, escalation, re-testing, and issue resolution
- Partner with developers and other test engineers to develop and review code and test cases
- Collaborate with developers to achieve a higher level of code coverage
- Build test automation artifacts that support and scale Continuous Integration & Continuous Testing
- Test new and existing code to uncover defects with the ability to spot defect trends or product risks and assist in problem-solving code issues and product impediments
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define acceptance tests and “Done” criteria
- Partner with UX to ensure consistent user experience across the product
- Contribute to the test automation technology stack
- Lead testing, validation, and sign-off for software product development and release readiness within product release and Agile sprint cadence
- Mentor and coach less experienced team members
- Monitor software process deficiencies and prioritizes improvements
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Prior software development experience or equivalent test engineering experience required.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Development required; 7 years of experience strongly preferred with an emphasis on Test Automation and managing test projects
- Working experience with programming languages, test-oriented development tools, and methodologies such as: TDD or BDD, Postman, Java, JavaScript, Python, Selenium (WebDriverIO), Appium (Mobile Automation), Jenkins / Travis CI / Circle CI (build & deployment) and code repository (GitHub)
- Knowledge of quality assurance (QA) methodology, QA best practices, & software development processes (Agile, Scrum, CI/CD)
- Extensive experience with manual and automation testing in a wide variety of projects and testing types including functional, regression, system, boundary, data integrity, exploratory, performance, API, compatibility, usability, reliability, and portability
- Technical experience with test frameworks - Cucumber, Jasmine, Chai, Mocha, Zephyr; data testing tools or capabilities; Cloud Testing – Perfecto / SauceLabs / BrowserStack; Project Tracking & Test Management Tools – JIRA / Rally, Zephyr; Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment like GCP, AWS, Oracle, etc.
Compensation:
Salary Range: $103,600 - $142,450. This range is estimated for the Senior Test Engineer position in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan, which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
