NutriTech is looking for Registered Dietitians (and DTRs) to join our growing team. We have openings at multiple skilled nursing facilties throughout Northwestern Ohio (Bryan, Perrysburg and Toledo) and Northeastern Ohio (Canton, Louisville, Portage Lakes, Sebring and East Liverpool). Full-time and Part-time positions available. Full-time job would be on site 3.5 days a week and off site 1.5 days a week (or possibly shorter days, if prefer).
Would be the perfect position for parents needing flexibility to accommodate bus schedules, youth sporting events, appointments, etc.
LTC and MDS experience is preferred, but willing to train.
Pay is VERY competitive!
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents
Completing comprehensive nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team (DTR completes all care conference summaries, d/c summaries, quarterlies and annuals)
High risk monitoring, charting and implementation of interventions (we give you the tools to keep track of all high risk)
Keeping dietary care plans current, measurable and resident centered
Survey assistance
Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns
Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations
Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications.
Skills and Qualifications
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently or with members of the healthcare team
Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families
Must be Registered with CDR
Long Term Care Experience preferred with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS, Completing resident/ patient assessments and Care Plans
Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
