Position Summary
Management position responsible for the overall functioning of the Dispensary. Ensures the store is running as efficiently and profitably as possible, looking for areas to create growth. This position is integral for the operation of the store, making certain that customers and employees are always attended to.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Look for and develop cost-saving measures and increased productivity
- Training of all new employees
- Monitoring the sales floor for staffing, customer needs, service, atmosphere, and security
- Creating schedules
- Overseeing and managing product inventory
- Maintaining current knowledge of all state and local laws and regulations for cannabis sales ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with local and state regulations
- Managing cash handling procedures and record keeping ensuring the accuracy of all transactions, cash, and records.
- Coordinate store events with the Marketing Department.
- Analyzing store performance making recommendations to improve sales performance
- Ordering of products for sales
- Managing, training, and inspiring retail staff to deliver the highest level of customer service
- Monitoring the sales floor to ensure specials are sold appropriately
- Cleaning out tags and products in Flow Hub / METRC
- Inventory Management
- Interview, check references and recommend top candidate (s), coordinate the hiring process
- Stay Knowledgeable regarding timekeeping rules and approve timecards
- Keeping current with Nuvue policy and procedures and being a resource for employees
- Opening/Closing of store
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Colorado MED Badge
- Prefer Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
- Prefer Minimum of 2 years of Budtending experience.
Working Conditions
Primarily in a retail environment. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 20 lbs., see, and read, work with numbers, and make sales with Point of Service application. Weekend and evening work is expected.
$24 to start with raises at periodic intervals, eligible for medical/dental/vision plan with company contribution
