NV5 is currently seeking a CMT Lab Technician for our Raleigh, NC office. This role offers the opportunity to provide testing and oversee lab operations in our AASHTO accredited and NCDOT certified soils and materials laboratory.

Responsibilities
- Perform soil and concrete testing on lab samples.
- Perform and/or coordinate timely calibrations and maintenance of field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards.
- Enter lab test data in laboratory software.
- Ability to interpret ASTM and AASHTO procedures.
- Performing and understanding laboratory tests including, but not limited to: moisture-density relationships, Atterberg limits, grainsize analysis, compressive strentgth of concrete and masonry, etc.
Qualifications
- Possesses or ability to obtain ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician Certification.
- Possesses or ability to obtain ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician Certification.
- Possesses or ability to obtain NCDOT Laboratory Certification.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving policy.
