Geotechnical Intern under the CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) unit in Orlando office. Work will be part-time, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include assisting geotechnical engineers in the following:
- Perform visual soil classification and data inputs
- Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.
- Interpret data analysis and plots
- Interpret CAD plots and report writing
- Perform and/or help with daily laboratory testing when needed.
Qualifications
- Be currently enrolled in school with an emphasis in civil engineering and taken at least 2 courses of geotechnical engineering.
- Familiar with soil classifications systems and basic soil laboratory tests
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
