What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager - eGIS position at NV5?
The Program Manager (PgM) is responsible for the overall management of eGIS projects in emerging markets. The successful PgM will work closely with the eGIS Director and NV5 Geospatial Account Managers to identify targets and develop go to market strategies for eGIS Solutions in alignment with NV5 Geospatial strategic goals. The PgM is responsible for concurrent management of projects, as well as providing support and leadership throughout the project lifecycle for those in the program. This position works closely with Innovation & Technology development and management teams, as well as with clients, to ensure strategic alignment and prioritize initiatives to max imize impact.
Work Environment:
Location is flexible: NV5Geospatial Regional offices or work from home considered Travel

Responsibilities
- Implements growth strategies to increase revenue for eGIS Solutions in emerging markets
- Coordinates across business units and shared services to develop solutions for identified targets
- Designs and delivers capabilities briefing to target audiences in support of strategic pursuits
- Supports the development of proposals and estimating
- Manages strategic eGIS projects
- Monitors project deliverables and provides routine status reporting to clients and stakeholders
- Monitors project health
Competencies & Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise GIS solutions
- Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience supporting all phases of the sales cycle
- Ability to develop a winning proposal
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills & professionalism
- Strong leadership ability
- Demontrated experience managing and leading a team to achieve defined goals/metrics
- Proven development and implementation of strategic vision
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ability to describe complex information technology software and business processes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise GIS software development projects
- Competency in procurement, negotiation and finance
- Client relationship management experience
- 10 years’ experience working in the geospatial industry
- 10 years’ experience in project or product management
- Master’s degree in a business, PM, science, or engineering program
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Business Management, Information Management or Computer Engineering
- Experience supporting State and County Government clients
