HR Manager

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL GET TO:

• Reporting to the HRVP and working with a close-knit HR and leadership team supporting our Aberdeen, Centralia and Chandler sites.
• Manage 2 direct reports (HRBP’s)
• Advise leadership on all Human Resources issues and initiatives impacting the sites business goals and objectives.
• Partner with business leaders to increase employee engagement and ensure alignment to nVent culture.
• Act as coach to managers on employee performance, employee relations issues and other people management programs.
• Develop communication and change initiatives to align employees with the business goals and objectives and to address employee concerns.
• Implement and support HR Department initiatives including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies and practices, training, and full employee life cycle processes.
• Acts as a primary point of contact and provides counsel and consulting services to internal partners across the organization as well provides support to employees.
• Manage hourly recruiting
• Coordinate temporary workforce
• Ensure accuracy of HRIS data
• Assist in conducting New Hire Orientations
• Lead HR project work

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resource Management (HR degree preferred )
• 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist
• Experience working within manufacturing industry highly preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws
• Familiarity with Workday or HRIS systems helpful
