WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION
IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL GET TO:
- Work remote anywhere in the US
- Develop, implement and lead a focused sales strategy to attain high - reaching growth targets within the Enclosures US Hoffman Key Account sales team.
- Lead focus and assist in Direct Account attainment.
- Work with Regional Leaders to establish Key Account list for focus in calendar year.
- Lead the promotion, organization and guidance of sales policies and practices to provide maximum market penetration of products
- Ensure cross functional partnership with global product category teams, marketing, customer care, pricing, global account and operation teams to achieve strategic goals
- Establish regular business review cadence with the team and rep agencies to ensure engagement towards closing new business is on track.
- Maintain the pulse of the competitive landscape, as well as; that of the customer-base business needs in order provide input to develop new products and market.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Ideally 10 years in an outside sales role in an electronic or industrial market along with extensive experience selling through multiple types of customers, including distributors, integrators/consultants, engineers and end - users/OEMs
- Ideally 5 years in a leadership level capacity including P&L management
- Knowledge and experience using salesforce efficiency tools and approaches (i.e. customer segmentation, territory management, technology tools such as CRM and mobile technologies, sales force time management)
- Proven skills to identify salesforce capability gaps and implementation of plans to address for balanced success
- Demonstrated skills for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard of excellence. Shows a passion for improving the delivery of services with a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Proven skills to nurture long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with core accounts that elevates revenue opportunities and brand equity
- Proven ability to negotiate by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, and influence, rationale and diplomacy both internally and externally in a selling environment
- Proven ability to develop and leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan. Consistently demonstrates alignment to organizational strategy to advance opportunities.
- Ability to adapt to constantly evolving business circumstances and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Physical and environmental abilities:
- Ability to work out of a home office
- Much of the work will require meeting with customers in the field. Some entertainment is required and must be willing to travel 50%
- Current and valid driver’s license required
