POSITION SUMMARY: The Brand Ambassador is responsible for interacting with customers to promote the Thompson Creek brand at home shows as well as other local events and organizations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Engage new and existing customers through trade shows, in-home events, local events, and organizations to build brand awareness and generate leads for in-home product demonstrations.
- Learn, understand, and apply established Home Show methodology and scripted interaction to engage potential customers.
- Setup and tear down TCWC activations at various events and trade shows.
- Maintain proper care and inventory of event and trade show display materials.
- Build relationships within local markets to generate contacts and potential sales leads (Chamber of commerce, social influencers, realtors, etc.).
- Effectively convey product knowledge, including brand messaging and promotions to increase brand awareness.
- Partner with the call center to properly enhance the customer experience.
- Creatively target potential new customers within an assigned territory.
- Attend and participate in departmental trainings and meetings.
- Maintain inventory of promotional materials, promotional giveaways, lead sheets, and appointment reminders.
- Ensure that all appropriate customer information is obtained on lead sheets and/or contact sheets.
- Uphold TCWC’s mission and values and adhere to all company policies and department performance standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education & Experience: Previous experience in customer service or sales environment.
- Computer Skills: Basic skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook.
