Professional Custodian
Job Posting for Professional Custodian at O'Fallon Casting
Primary Function:
Perform required custodial functions in all office, breakroom and common areas.
Tools and Equipment:
Mops, brooms, sponges, custodial machines, cleansers, etc.
Material:
Cleaning products, etc.
Direction of others:
The department supervisor will be directing the Professional Custodian.
Working Procedures:
Under the guidance and direction of the department supervisor:
1. Shall adhere to all safety requirements as posted on the job safety card.
2. Shall receive daily work assignments from the department supervisor.
3. Shall maintain all job documentation, forms, instruction sheets, etc, where accuracy and timeliness are paramount.
4. Shall maintain a clean work environment in the department, and plant common areas. This shall include but not limited to, keeping equipment clean and free from dirt and grime, sweeping the floor and picking up any refuse, doing whatever is necessary to maintain a clean and dirt free working environment.
5. Shall attend and successfully complete lockout/tagout training classes.
6. Shall attend and successfully complete hazardous material/waste handling classes.
7. Shall clean and maintain all employee and office restrooms as needed.
8. Shall perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Job responsibilities will require tolerance to all weather related conditions, and the various conditions found throughout the plant.
Special Skills Required:
Must have sufficient strength and manual dexterity to perform the physical demands of the job.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Salary : $21 - $25
