Job Description
The Pay Role Clerk / HR Generalist will:
- Have full ownership of payroll & payroll processes
- Train and monitor work accuracy of HR/Payroll responsibilities with managers
- Coordinate all compliance/ethics training for hourly and salary employees
- Manage new hire orientation for all hourly and salary employees
- Work with union employees and abide by the current CBA
The Pay Role Clerk / HR Generalist should be:
- A self-starter with high energy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to communicate well with all levels of employees and management
- Understanding of California labor and wage laws
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in HR Management) and at least 4 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Labor relations experience required
- Oral and written fluency in both Spanish and English is a plus
