Essential Responsibilities:
- Assists General Manager in preparation of annual budgets
- Prepares accurate and timely monthly financial statements
- Maintains confidentiality of all team members, vendors, and guest information
- Compiles and completes daily reports
- Verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents, such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts
- Compiles reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business
- May verify and process invoices, prepare payments for signature, sort, code, and enter accounts payable data, and analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
- May prepare and submit customer invoices, as well as code, post, and receipt payments
- Prepare and coordinate deposit activities, perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations, and monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
- Reconciles and balances accounts in a timely manner
- May process and send statements to vendors and customers
- Collects and reviews tax documents regarding tax exempt guests/clients
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members and the management team
- Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on time, in accordance with company policy
- Know and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties

- Strong knowledge of tax and financial reporting
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Administration
- CPA certification preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of two years of Accounting experience
- Background in the hospitality field is preferred
Hours:
- Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
- Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Work involves sitting most of the time.
- May be required to lift more than 40 pounds on occasion.
Work Conditions:
- Inside work environment. Not substantially exposed to adverse conditions.
