Responsibilities
The Oak Hills Kitchen Manager is primarily responsible for upholding excellent standards within the Catering department for all weddings and events.
They will be responsible for overseeing the back-of-house for Banquet dinners, buffets, and cocktail hours, attend weekly Team Meetings, assisting in inventory, supervising and scheduling Kitchen Staff, and help in custom menu development.
Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have experience in commercial cooking. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills with clients and staff, be highly observant, capable of problem solving, and remain calm under pressure.
Essential to the position is enthusiasm for taking care of our clients and their guests. A Food Handlers Permit is required upon hire.
Additional Information
This position will require 30-40 hours per week through the busy wedding season. (March-October). Hours typically decrease in the winter months to 20 hour per week or less.
