Marketing Office Assistant Position Summary
Oversees and manages all general administrative functions of the marketing office. Maintains appropriate inventory levels (office supplies and marketing materials). Maintains and generates a variety of tracking spreadsheets and marketing reports. Provides general administrative support to the entire marketing staff. Works closely with director on coordinating and executing all marketing events, marketing collateral and other in-house communications.
Marketing Office Assistant Job Qualifications and Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) preferred.
  • Five years of experience in an administrative capacity within a marketing, advertising or public relations environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Constant Contact); database experience required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • This individual will need to be an empathetic, energetic multi-tasker with an affinity for working with a diverse senior population.
  • All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening
