Job Summary:

The Junior Accounting works closely with the Controller to align business purposes related to the company’s financial matters. The position provides support for the day-to-day processing of Accounting transactions within the company’s Accounting group; ensuring that policies and procedures are followed to achieve accurate and timely processing for reporting of financial data. The position performs a vital part in enhancing the company’s infrastructure, and has the capability to contribute to the strength and sustainable growth of Oasis Medical.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ongoing accurate and confidential reporting of financial information
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including journal entries.
  • Review and approve batches; prepares various reports as needed by management and statutory agencies
  • Maintain filing system for all fixed asset accounts and various contracts
  • Prepare and report financial reports including budgets and forecasts
  • Track spending initiatives across all aspects of the business
  • Act as backup for processing accounts receivable and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures, as well as accounts payable transactions.
  • Initiate and prepare Annual 1099 preparation
  • Interact effectively with Oasis customer service department regarding invoice questions and corrections
  • Identify change and improvement in work processes to promote efficiency as OASIS grows
  • Exhibit professional behavior and demeanor at all times; proactively resolve issues using Best Practices
  • Comply with all Company policies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned

Education And Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related major required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting or BS in Accounting
  • Ability to manage financial processes and use technical software - JDE & SAP Ideal
  • Accounting in the manufacturing industry preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
