Responsibilities
- We are looking for a self-confident, self-starting, high-energy individual who can lead and grow our DSD retail sales division!
- Responsible for the planning and execution of sales strategy for regional and key accounts in order to achieve revenue growth.
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers in the grocery industry.
- Grow sales by improving same store sales performance as well as adding new accounts/chains.
- Ensure proper execution of pricing and promotional programs.
- Work closely with logistics/operations division to ensure correct and timely deliveries.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues.
- Maintain current awareness of competitors, competitive product lines and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to travel locally (up to 50%).
- Some overnight travel required.
- Proven 5 years experience in accounts management and sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
- Ability to work hard and have fun.
- Highly effective facilitation, presentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a customer service driven attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
