DIRECTOR OF LABOR RELATIONS
OCM BOCES has the need for a Director of Labor Relations. The successful candidate will provide professional services involving labor relations/personnel consultation to Districts subscribing to the Labor Relations Service. Duties may include, but are not limited to, representation for school districts in collective bargaining, conducting in-service training seminars, and investigating employee disciplinary matters, employee complaints, sexual harassment complaints, and other issues that may require representation in grievances, arbitration, and/or civil service matters. Supervises other Labor Relations personnel as well as overseeing EAP, Substitute Service and Bus Driver Testing programs. Applicants must possess or be eligible for NYS SDA/SDL certification or meet Civil Service qualifications. Experience in labor relations and negotiations or personnel function, preferably in a school setting and JD preferred. Applications accepted online only.
