We are seeking a Key Partnerships Manager to join the team to help drive growth, with a focus on the UK wholesale market. There will be account management responsibility with retail distribution firms and influencing partners at headquarter level is a key objective.
The team:
The Key Partnerships Team is essential to Octopus Investments’ distribution and growth. The team is responsible for establishing and managing relationships with the most influential companies within the UK wholesale and retail market.
Within the team, you will own one or more specialist client channels and be responsible for selling them all Octopus investment capabilities including private markets, tax-efficient and quoted products that are suitable for wholesale and retail buyers.
What will you be doing?
- Sell and Influence - Create a panel of buy-list and panel positions across tax, quoted and private markets products that are suitable for both new and existing retail and wholesale buyers.
- Brilliant partner experience – Deliver a best-in-class customer experience for our partners and their advisers, collaborating with account managers and regional BDMs to do so.
- Collaboration - Work closely with our regional Business Development Managers to ensure we maximise the opportunity with panel/buy-list panel positions and inform their planning and focus.
- Product and market expert - This will include presentations to audiences of intermediaries such asprivate banks, wealth managers, financial advisers and more. You will also be the go-to for intelligence and understanding of the UK wholesale and retail market.
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
✔️ Strong knowledge of the UK wholesale market and a number of existing commercially valuable relationships, various issues within the private market wholesale arena including structuring, geography, liquidity and themes.
✔️ Proven results of growth via existing relationships, ability to attract and cement new business relationships and able to devise strategies.
✔️ Intellectually curious to develop your knowledge of the broad range of Octopus investment capability and where it can fit within an investment portfolio and client proposition
