Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the grocery department, including inventory management, stocking, and merchandising
- Ensure shelves are properly stocked and organized to meet customer needs
- Monitor product quality and freshness to maintain high standards
- Train and supervise grocery department staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other department managers to optimize store operations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a grocery management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of wireless sales is desirable
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop employees
- Proficient in payroll management and budgeting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
