Machinist

We are looking for a Machinist for our Dayton, OH facility. In this role you will be responsible to perform a variety of tasks that requires highly skilled hands-on programming and machining knowledge.

Your Responsibilities

• Work from CAD files, engineering drawings, sketches, and or verbal instructions to perform highly diversified hands-on machining operations to specifications.
• Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, or tool description, and plans sequence of operations.
• Sets up and operates machine tools to machine parts to specifications and verifies part conformance.
• Must satisfy quality standards.
• Create and edit complex programs using CAD/CAM systems (Espirit) machine controllers and conversational programing including troubleshooting.
• Use measurement and analytical skills to accurately measure in-process inspection by using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to assure high quality levels in detail machining.
• Communicates ideas to improve the organization.
• Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
  
  
  

Your Profile

• High School Diploma or GED
• Vocational Trade School Diploma is preferred
• Print reading, shop math, and machining skills are required
• Two to four years of machining experience is required
• Must own job related tools.
• Understand basic metrology
• Mitsubishi wire EDM experience
• Esprit software (wire programming)
• Hurco experience preferred
• CNC lathe experience preferred
