Vehicle Appraiser

Off Lease Only LLC is seeking a Vehicle Appraiser!

At Off Lease Only we make selling a car an easy and convenient process for our customers. You will be an essential part of our Purchasing team, training, developing, and coaching the vehicle assessment specialist team. By working with the VAS team to ensure that every car is accurately assessed and communicating clearly with business partners and customers, you will help to ensure that each customer leaves satisfied with their car selling experience. Summary:

This job is primarily responsible for appraising vehicles to determine how much they are worth and vehicle damage to determine repair costs.   

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspect vehicles following the vehicle evaluation SOP.  Determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
• Note all conditions in company approved appraisal platforms to allow for vehicle value evaluation
• Accurately communicate any issues found during the assessment to the customer and central appraisers
• Personally Deliver all customer appraisal offers when possible
• Complete all vehicle purchase paperwork and review for accuracy
• Train, Develop and Coach the VAS team through shoulder-to-shoulder training
• Conduct monthly VAS evaluations to determine VAS proficiency
• Review and walk front lot inventory daily for Pricing, Quality, and Merchandising  
• Complete aged inventory walks for conditions and communicate findings to the operations team
• Support sales and drive execution
• Manage inventory to ensure proper disposition
• Wholesale vehicles sold within 14 days or at auction
• Create VAS monthly schedule
• Communicate any retail pricing concerns to Area Appraisal Manager or Central Appraiser Team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid Florida driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record in the sole discretion of Off Lease Only.
• Flexibility to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail
• No prior automotive experience required
