Job Description:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive product sales and achieve revenue targets in his or her assigned territory. This role involves building strong relationships with dispensary managers and sales associates, conducting product training, and coordinating promotional events to increase brand visibility and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and execute pre-plans prior to each sales week by strategizing the best way to achieve goals, objectives, and close gaps.
- Manage and maximize product sales in account territory.
- Demonstrates professional consultative sales abilities through successful presentations of products, the promotion of new and existing portfolio items and the expansion of business.
- Develops strong relationships with Dispensary Managers and Sales Associates to introduce new products and increase sales velocity.
- Interacts with potential customers, answering questions and making product recommendations during promo days.
- Gather and communicate market intelligence, while maintaining consumer confidence and protect operations by keeping company information confidential.
- Operates individual account plans daily.
- Initiates new account onboarding in a professional, proficient, and timely manner.
- Supports sales campaigns, sets up product displays and marketing collaterals for sales campaigns or product offerings.
- Maintain the levels of product information and marketing collateral.
- Host dispensary product training with recurring training sessions with dispensary customers to maintain a high level of product knowledge with staff.
- Coordinate promotions and participate in designated promotional events.
- Contribute to team by going above and beyond to accomplish company goals as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or sufficient related experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in outside sales, account management, or related field.
- Experience in the cannabis industry and/or consumer packaged goods (including alcohol sales) preferred.
- Ability to negotiate deals and/or product promotions to help company bottom line.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver exceptional results on a strict deadline.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Travel required (50% ), good driving record, valid driver’s license, and insurance coverage.
- Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting salary pay range from $65,000- $80,000 plus commissions, bonuses & incentives.
