JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Demonstrate the importance of safety through personal involvement and ensuring team member accountability
Report to the General Product Support Manager (GPSM) with full responsibilities for the overall success of the branch operations, from direct oversight of the parts and service team to the final monthly and annual P&L statements
Assist the GPSM in the development of annual budgets for their areas of responsibilities and communicating progress and results with the team on a consistent basis
Cascade corporate direction and vision including programs and campaigns, aligning tactical and strategic plans, to produce value-added aftermarket support.
Greet and assist customers when other team members are at capacity assuring their business needs are met
Travel as needed to fulfill customer and business needs
Lead a team of talented individuals, coaching development of product and professional knowledge
Possess the ability to interpret and utilize industry-specific data to drive increased revenues
Maintain appropriate staffing levels within the branch, including projecting future needs with GPSM
Maintain awareness of agricultural trends and business activity
Work with all divisions of Ohio Machinery Co. (Ohio CAT, Northern Ohio Peterbilt, IFS, Complete Hydraulic Service) to provide value-added solutions for our customers increasing their profitability and company revenues
Collaborate with GPSM and Marketing developing an annual marketing plan to increase revenues and customer base
Strategically resolve customer dissatisfaction and disputes, finding mutually beneficial solutions
Assist in and attend public relations functions or association events, professionally representing Ohio Ag Equipment
Obtain profitable results through the motivation of the team, must first be driven for team success and second for individual success.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Agricultural Economics/Business or 3-5 years of previous equipment, ag, or turf business product support (aftersales) management
Strong financial aptitude, understanding business reports, recognizing key drivers for sustainable profitability. Proficient in computer operations including Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Understand gross margin (profit), service recovery, parts turns, etc.
Proven background of increasing revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction
American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
