JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our Power Systems Sales team based in Columbus to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. As the team leader on each project, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating project activities to meet deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- Project management for engine and power systems including preparation of engineering submittals, equipment procurement, construction management, systems installation, and equipment start-up.
- Review project documents for compliance with project requirements and specifications.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Prior experience as a Project Manager or equivalent
- Heavy machinery, Power Systems, Energy Transition or CAT industry expertise preferred.
- Some experience with relevant modeling application software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and business collaboration tools (Microsoft software suite - Excel, OneDrive, Teams)
- Proficiency in reading engineering specifications and electrical system diagrams.
- Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
