Executive & HR Liaison

Seeking a motivated and organized administrative professional to join our fun, fast-paced team! This position will support the general counsel and will help administer the Association’s HR policies and programs.

Who we are:

We are a fun, hardworking group of around 60 employees from diverse backgrounds. We are passionate about our members (Ohio attorneys, judges, paralegals and legal administrators) and the justice system.
We use our talents to help our members serve their clients. On any given day, you might find us advocating at the Statehouse for justice and the rule of law, producing high quality continuing legal education programs or leading a lunchtime meditation session for 160 like-minded members. And that was just today!

Our Match:

We are looking for an organized, intellectually curious person with a sense of humor to join our team as the Executive & HR Liaison. This integral position supports the General Counsel and will help round out our Human Resources Department. Our perfect fit will support the GC by providing executive and administrative assistance and will contribute to the Human Resources Department by helping to administer policies and programs. This position is fast paced and will be most enjoyed by an energetic sort who enjoys the fast lane!

What your days would look like:

Flexibility is key in this role – we are a small organization that focuses on “getting the job done.” Your days will be diverse and colorful, but will generally consist of:

  • Assisting GC with contract and IP portfolio administration
  • Managing GC’s files and creating processes for efficiency
  • Maintaining GC calendar
  • Preparing for OSBA board and committee meetings – creating agenda, meeting notices and background information.
  • Tracking short and long-term HR projects and activities and providing follow up assistance as required
  • Helping to facilitate OSBA benefit programs
  • Working to create recruitment and retention strategies
  • Pitching in as needed “to get the job done.”

Who you are:
You’re experienced!

  • You have a high school degree with at least 5 years of work experience. o At least 5 years of administrative experience preferred. o Knowledge of HR desirable, but not required
  • You’re office/tech savvy! o Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, document scanning equipment/Adobe Acrobat, internet searching/browser experience – you know it!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
