- Location: 3400 N Hutchinson St, Pine Bluff, AR 71602
- Review, track, and document compliance with training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety and anti-harassment training.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants, collaborating with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Administer and execute HR programs, including disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance management, and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to appropriate staff.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and best practices; review policies to ensure compliance.
- Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
