- Develop and establish quality assurance standards for new and existing applications
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and identify potential issues
- Analyze documentation to understand application functionality and technical architecture
- Create test plans and translate business and functional requirements into test cases
- Execute test cases for internally developed products and COTS solutions
- Assist in testing and installing in-house and COTS products
- Collaborate with software and systems personnel for system, regression, and load testing
- Recommend test cases for automation and use appropriate tools for automated testing
- Analyze test results to identify and resolve defects, bugs, and other issues
- Provide recommendations for application/system improvements to the Customer Engagement team
- Develop testing strategies for existing applications and systems
- Report defects and provide input on release decisions
- Evaluate and solve complex testing problems and peer review other QA analysts’ testing efforts
- Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders and management
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, including unit testing for quality coding
- Assist in developing change control processes for new and existing technologies
- Document and share knowledge to improve IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 4 years of related experience
- Familiarity with QA standard concepts, practices, and technologies
- Proficiency in developing and executing software tests
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in creating test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills for reporting test progress and results
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) systems and documentation practices
