Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Supervisor for our Heavener, OK location.
Summary: Supervises feed mill operations and enters payroll information by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervises feed mill and feed haul operations.
- Completes required paperwork.
- Fills the manager role in his or her absence.
- Completes employee payroll information and driver pay.
- Works with mill employees to schedule feed manufacturing.
- Works with dispatch to ensure that feed is being delivered on schedule.
- Works with mill maintenance to minimize mill downtime.
- Performs other duties as requested by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Feed Mill. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for the company's driving program.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or education beyond high school including special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred. 2 years with supervisory experience in manufacturing, and minimum of 1 year HACCP experience. Food manufacturing is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of E-mail software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
