Position Summary
Reporting to ofi Spices' eCommerce Manager, the eCommerce Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the supply planning and logistics of the Spices ecommerce business. For an ecommerce business, inventory availability is one of the primary drivers of customer acquisition and satisfaction. They will manage the flow of inventory from both internal and external suppliers to ensure all products are in stock in our various warehouse locations. The eCommerce Supply Chain Manager will work in conjunction with other ofi teams to expand our warehousing footprint to service our customers faster and cheaper. Additionally, they will work with the eCommerce Manager to establish a robust inventory management process to limit stock outs and backorders.
This is a rare opportunity to build a high growth startup inside one of the leading manufacturers and growers of food ingredients in the world. You will get to build a Business to Business (B2B) ecommerce business for ofi's Spices division. This is a fast-paced and fluid startup inside a large, industry-leading, and well-resourced company.
The ideal candidate for this position should be able to successfully analyze sales data and implement strategies based on those learnings. They should be outgoing, a strong communicator and should be able to collaborate and think creatively about new solutions and opportunities for business. The ideal candidate will be persistent, while respectful, and highly self-motivated to develop and further relationships, the brand, and the overall ofi eCommerce business.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to maintain stock position that supports the eCommerce business.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement strategies to accelerate speed of delivery.
- Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate inventory problems and shortages and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Identify and implement strategies to reduce cost and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
- Create an inventory management process to avoid stock outs and backorders.
- Manage and analyze the flow of inventory for both internal and external suppliers to ensure all products are adequately stocked in various warehouse locations.
- Leverage market trends to identify new product offerings.
- In conjunction with the Procurement team, evaluate suppliers to expand our online offerings.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferred majors in Business, Management, or related studies. Candidates with three (3) years eCommerce business development experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Two (2) years of eCommerce supply chain experience is required. Candidate substituting experience in lieu of degree must have a total of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Strong level of influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both written and verbal, are required.
- Ability to effectively partner with multiple teams globally is required.
- Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects with multiple competing demands is required.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Must be able to problem solve and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Proven ability to exercise effective judgement, sensitivity, and creativity to changing needs and situations is required.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook and Word, is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel, up to 10% of the time is required. (Post-COVID).
