Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stocker to join our early morning shipment team. As a Stocker you will be responsible for helping unload shipment trucks, process shipment units in a timely fashion, back stocking units, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all units are stocked and products are readily available.
Duties:
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise in an accurate and timely manner
- Perform inventory control activities, including conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, shelves, and aisles
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
