Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Owner (Logistics) to play a crucial role within our dynamic IT department, focusing on our enterprise logistics applications.
This pivotal role will be responsible for defining functional solutions that address our customer needs in the realm of logistics.
As a key member of the Supply Chain Technology team and Scrum team, the incumbent will deeply understand the logistic needs of our US & Canadian divisions and drive business value through the strategic use and integration of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between the Transportation/Logistics Business area and the IT Support team.
  • Conduct business process reviews, GAP analysis, and prioritize OTM business priorities using business value, IT implementation plans, and team capacity.
  • Define business needs as features and enablers, decomposing them into stories in alignment with the SAFe Agile Environment.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in integrating ERP with TMS, assisting end-users with building business requirements.
  • Responsible for defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria, acceptance testing, and coordinating with QA.
  • Develop and refine best practices related to logistics applications and foster a collaborative team environment within and across Scrum teams.
  • Coordinate end-user training, facilitate working sessions, and participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent formal training/work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in functional business consulting within the Transportation/Logistics business area.
  • Proven experience integrating an ERP with a TMS.
  • Excel, process mapping, SQL experience, and the ability to translate customer requirements into Agile user stories.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a robust understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, planning, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
