Position Overview
Utilizes niche software to weigh truck payloads at plant or remote plant scales and generates tickets for customers. Performs various general office clerical tasks and assists superintendent. Responsible for maintaining and cleaning the plant office building. Works under general supervision with specified standard policies and procedures. Refers questions to supervisor.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Weighs outgoing truck loads, entering order information into the computer system and generating tickets for customer. Ticketing may also be to a remote location.
- Verification of customer information, truck hauling company, driver, project location, and product purchased.
- Interaction with customers, loader operators, superintendents and other plant personnel to ensure accurate ticketing information and quality customer service.
- Collects funds on COD orders.
- Prepares weekly cash report on COD orders and cash receipts and submits to Billing Specialist at Legler location.
- Generates reports. Assists as requested for ticket information review for invoicing.
- Answers incoming phone calls and greets visitors and customers in a pleasant and courteous manner so as to provide quality customer service.
- Takes accurate and detailed messages when needed and/or redirects callers as appropriate.
- Codes invoices for accounts payable on approved invoices received at plant. Timely sends coded invoices to Legler office accounts payable department for processing.
- Maintains and generates accurate monthly reports.
- Submits wage personnel payroll hours each Monday.
- Accurately records and reports MSHA quarterly reports, accident reports, and injury reports.
- Files plant paperwork and reports.
III. OFFICE CLEANING (15%)
- Performs daily task of sweeping and mopping plant office building.
- Performs daily task of straightening, dusting, and cleaning of plant office areas including, scale operator area, main customer entry area, employee break area and restrooms.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Dependable and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
- High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
- Six months to one year experience preferred performing similar or related office support functions.
Work Requirements
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- Skill in operating a computer to store data and generate reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Ability to use general office equipment such as an adding machine, typewriter, computer, copy machine, etc.
- Verbal and written communication skills needed.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail with minimal errors.

- Ability to physically perform cleaning functions including but not limited to walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and squatting.
Work Environment
