Olin Corporation is seeking Cybersecurity, Networking and Computer Science students to fill the Information Security Co-Op role. This position will be located at the Clayton, MO (St. Louis metro) office and part of the Corporate Information Systems team.

Our college recruiting program is aimed at students who have completed their sophomore year of college or beyond. Students in our college program are encouraged to work at different Olin plants, divisions and business functions as they progress from one assignment to the next.
Examples of Daily Activities for Information Security Co-ops:
- Assist security management and engineering teams with configuration and implementation of hardware and software
- Spend focused time learning key security, network, and related application concepts to effectively communicate solutions to users and administer security-based tools and related infrastructure
- Works with managed security service provider SOC, and Olin IT teams to document and assist with incident remediation
- Assist with researching security requests, documenting and communicating research results back to management, and (as needed) providing responses back to users
- Researches and analyzes security threat dashboards, working with SOC to ensure alerts are being properly engaged
- Help senior resources research and document security exceptions
- Assists with vulnerability and trend reporting and analysis
- Assist senior management with creation/editing of security policies and procedures
- Employ effective communications when assisting with security architecture, design, and/or incident management efforts
- Assists team with various annual security compliance audits, including providing evidence for various controls
Requirements for the Information System Co-op:
- Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Cybersecurity, Networking, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin locations
- Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred
- Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations
- Must have completed sophomore year prior to first assignment with Olin
- Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) From June - December 2023. Not eligible for virtual work.
